Together Voyage — Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Together Voyage, a group trip planning platform and product of Together Community — the trading name of Together Community for Events and Occasion Organization L.L.C., a limited liability company licensed in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (Trade License No. CN-6766835, issued by the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development / Abu Dhabi Registration Authority, valid through 21 September 2027) (“Together Voyage”, “we”, “us”), accessible at togethervoyage.com and related applications (the “Service”). Together Voyage itself is not separately registered; it is operated as a product of Together Community. Registering the Together Voyage brand under this license, and other pre-launch legal formalities, are planned to be completed before Together Voyage’s official public launch.

By creating an account, or by using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it up to date.

Together Voyage does not currently verify age or identity beyond the information you provide at sign-up.

3. Description of the Service

Together Voyage lets a group of travelers plan a trip together. Core features, as currently built:

• Trips and roles. A trip is created by one owner and shared with invited travelers, who join as Editors (can edit the itinerary and invite others) or Viewers.
• Itinerary planning. Travelers can add places, days, and notes to a shared itinerary.
• Photos and journal. Travelers can upload photos and journal entries to a trip, subject to the limits in Section 5.
• Visibility and publishing. Trips are private by default, visible only to invited travelers. A trip owner may choose to publish a trip publicly; publishing applies automatic sanitization — aliasing traveler names, coarsening exact dates and locations, and removing photo metadata — before anything is shown publicly.
• AI features. See Section 4 below.

4. AI Features

Together Voyage uses artificial intelligence, provided by a third-party AI provider (Anthropic, via the Claude API), for two features: AI place suggestions, which suggest places, cities, and points of interest for a trip and can enrich place entries with additional details; and an AI help desk, which answers questions about how to use the platform based on our own published help articles.

Accuracy disclaimer. AI-generated suggestions and answers may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. AI outputs are provided “as is” and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You should independently verify any AI-suggested place, opening hours, address, or travel information before relying on it — Together Voyage is not a substitute for official travel advisories, maps, or booking platforms.

Usage limits. To manage cost and prevent abuse, AI features are subject to usage caps that may change over time as we learn from real usage (for example, a daily limit on AI actions per trip, and a daily limit on help desk questions per user). See Section 5 for the trial period’s current limits.

Third-party AI provider. AI features are powered by Anthropic’s Claude models. Your questions and the content you submit to AI features (e.g. a help desk question, or trip content used for place suggestions) are sent to Anthropic for processing, subject to Anthropic’s own terms. By default, Anthropic does not use data submitted through its commercial API to train its models.

5. Trial Period & Content Limits

Trial period. Together Voyage is currently offered as a free trial, with no subscription fee, running through 31 December 2026. This section describes the trial as it currently stands; it will be updated — and you’ll be asked to re-accept these Terms — before Together Voyage moves to a fully paid, subscription-based service.

To keep the Service fast and affordable during the trial, the following limits apply and may change:

• Trips: up to 10 trips per account.
• AI actions: up to 20 AI-consuming actions per trip, per calendar day (AI place suggestions and related enrichment).
• Photos: up to 50 photos per trip (shared across all travelers on that trip), capped at 5MB per file.

These limits are safeguards against cost and abuse during the trial, not promises of future pricing tiers — the paid structure that eventually replaces them (Section 10) may set different limits entirely.

6. User Content & Conduct

“User Content” means anything you upload or submit — itinerary entries, photos, journal entries, place notes, and messages.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant Together Voyage a limited license to store, display, and process it solely to provide the Service to you and your trip’s other travelers (and, if you choose to publish a trip, to the public, subject to sanitization).

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content that is defamatory, insulting, or harms another person’s honor or dignity;
• Upload false information or rumors presented as fact;
• Upload manipulated media (e.g. deepfakes) intended to mislead;
• Upload another person’s personal data without their consent;
• Upload content that infringes a third party’s intellectual property;
• Upload sexually explicit content, hate speech, or content that promotes violence or illegal activity;
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, security measures, or access another user’s account or trip without authorization;
• Use the Service in a way that violates UAE law, including the UAE Cybercrime Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021).

7. Content Moderation & Legal Compliance

Because Together Voyage operates in and is subject to UAE law, we maintain content moderation measures — including automated screening — applied particularly to content that may be published publicly. We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law, and we will cooperate with lawful requests from UAE authorities to remove or restrict access to content.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Our collection and use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Key points relevant to these Terms: we collect account information (name, email), trip content you submit, and usage data. Your data is stored and processed on servers located outside the UAE (currently in the Mumbai, India region, via our infrastructure provider Supabase); by using the Service, you acknowledge this cross-border transfer. Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal data — contact hello@togethervoyage.com to exercise these rights.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on the following third-party providers, each subject to their own terms: Anthropic (Claude API) for AI place suggestions and the help desk; Supabase for database, authentication, and file storage (Mumbai region); Vercel for application hosting; Resend for transactional email (confirmation and account emails); and Wikimedia Commons and OpenStreetMap/Photon for place data and images used to enrich itinerary entries. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of these third-party services.

10. Fees & Subscriptions

Together Voyage does not currently charge for the Service. As described in Section 5, the Service is offered as a free trial, without a live payment or subscription system, running through 31 December 2026 and subject to the usage limits described there. When paid tiers launch, this section will be updated to describe pricing, billing terms, refund policy, and how tier limits interact with (or replace) the trial caps in Section 5 — you’ll be asked to accept the updated Terms at that point.

11. Intellectual Property

The Together Voyage name, logo, and platform (excluding User Content and third-party data) are the property of Together Community or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law.

12. Termination & Suspension

You may stop using the Service at any time by contacting us at hello@togethervoyage.com to request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if required to do so by law or a competent UAE authority.

13. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Together Voyage does not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate (see Section 4). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Together Voyage’s total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to AED 100, or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater. Together Voyage is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any travel decisions made based on AI-suggested content.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Together Voyage against claims arising from your violation of these Terms or your User Content, to the extent permitted by law.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the onshore courts of Abu Dhabi.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, including to reflect regulatory changes, the Together Voyage brand registration described in Section 1, or new features. We will indicate the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice (e.g. by email or an in-app notice) and ask you to re-accept before continuing to use the Service.
